About Us

Who Are We?

Established in 2010, Masjid Al-Imām Muqbil is situated in South Harrow providing a place of worship, education and spiritual upliftment not only for the residents but for all Muslims.

We aim to propagate the True Islamic Creed and Methodology by strictly adhering to the beliefs and practices upheld by the revered Sahabah and the earliest generations of al-Islam (As-Salaf as-Sālih).

With a dedication that surpasses the five daily prayers that are established at Masjid al-Imām Muqbil, we humbly provide an array of Islamic services, all for the sake of Allāh, the Exalted. Among our efforts to support and educate the Ummah are a madrasah, counselling, general lectures, Friday sermons, and Islamic courses.

Our Aims

  • Enlightening ourselves and our fellow brothers and sisters in Islām in all challenges and avenues of life relying on the Noble Qur’ān and the authentic Sunnah (traditions of the Prophet ﷺ) as understood by the pious earliest generations (As-Salaf as-Sālih).
  • Spreading the Correct Creed by inviting non-Muslims and Muslims alike to the pure understanding of Islam, far from the two polar opposites of misguidance: al-ghulū (extremism) and at-tamyī’ (watering down/diluting the religion).
  • Uniting the people upon the truth and cautioning them against the many sects, groups, ideologies, and individuals who have deviated from the Usūl (Core teachings) of Islām and distorted the dignity of the religion of Allāh, the Majestic.
