There are many different names of “Laa ilaaha illAllaah” found in the Qur’an and Sunnah. The scholars have pointed out almost 30 different names in the Qur’an, let alone the Sunnah. However, in this post we will suffice with mentioning just 10 names from the Qur’an:
1. Kalimah At-Tayyibah (The Good Word)
“To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it”
Faatir: 10
2. Kalimah At-Taqwaa (The Word of Piety)
“Then Allah sent down His Sakinah (calmness and tranquillity) upon His Messenger (SAW) and upon the believers, and made them stick to the word of piety (i.e. none has the right to be worshipped but Allah)”
Al-Fath: 26
3. Kalimah Al-Baaqiyah (The Remaining Word)
“And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said to his father and his people, “Indeed, I am disassociated from that which you worship
Except for He who created me; and indeed, He will guide me.”
And he made it a word remaining among his descendants that they might return [to it].”
Az-Zukhruf: 26-28
4. Kalimah Al-‘Ulyaa (The Lofty Word)
“and made the word of those who disbelieved the lowest, while the word of Allah – that is the highest. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.”
Tawbah: 40
5. Al-‘Urwah Al-Wuthqaa (The Most Trustworthy Hand-hold)

“And he (Muhammad SAW) who has brought the truth (this Quran and Islamic Monotheism) and (those who) believed therein (i.e. the true believers of Islamic Monotheism), those are Al- Muttaqun (the pious and righteous persons)”
Zumar: 33

8. Kalimah Al-Islaam (The Word of Islaam)
“And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah untruth while he is being invited to Islam. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.”

“but only those who testify to the truth [can benefit], and they know.”
Az-Zukhruf: 86
10. Al-Qawl Ath-Thaabit (The Firm Word)
